Babysitting duties today so an early start from home. Reasonable journey to Doncaster - only 45 minutes.

Lovely bright clear day - and quite pleasant once the frost shifted - so we went for a walk down to the river Dearne. The sun was catching these dead oak leaves and they showed up quite nicely against the silver birch bark behind. The new leaf buds are emerging too.

Baby Emily looks as though she doesn't want a nap...despite yawning and rubbing her eyes. I guess yours truly may have to go without forty winks. Lets hope I survive the rest of the day...
