Sunbathing

In case you haven’t figured out by now, I just LOVE being outside! So if it’s a sunny day, even in January, I can often be found basking up the sun.

Thankfully I have a sheltered spot in my garden that gets the afternoon sun. This time of year the sun doesn’t get much above the trees that are at the bottom of my garden, but once it moves beyond them I get some wonderful direct sunlight before it finally dips below the top of the fence. I took this picture at 230pm.

So both yesterday and today I enjoyed this spot of sunbathing. With a hot cup of tea. As well as my jacket, hat, scarf, a blanket and a hot water bottle! I listened to my audio book and I was toasty warm. Bliss!
