Sannick
Historically most of the villages of Shetland have the church as their central point. Sandwick is made up of many smaller villages but the true centre is here at Sannick with the Church of Scotland very prominent. Like many villages the church usually overlooks the sea. Hopefully in large the fields behind the church will show how narrow they are with a traditional rig system.
I suppose I should mention that I did get married in this church almost 30 years ago.
