Snaaaaaaaake!

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

The Notmals and The Explorers headed to Broughty Ferry to visit Gerry & Danny.

Their house might be the poshest house I have ever stayed in. It is a quarter of a converted mansion and is beautiful. They even have a baby grand despite neither of them being able to play a note!

The ten of us went to The Ship Inn for dinner and then headed back to the house for post-dinner drinks by the roaring fire in the drawing room.*

Danny studies zoology and LOVES animals. There is even a dedicated animal room in the house for his pets who are named after Shakespeare characters. Henry (the snake) and Othello (the giant millipede) joined us for several hours much to the delight of The Eldest Mini Princess. The Youngest Mini Princess was less enamoured!

Both animals felt relaxed in our company and decided to show off their pooing skills. Two things I learned:

1. Snake poo looks like bird poo - mainly white, which is apparently the calcium from mouse bones

2. Millipedes poo soil. How cool is that?

It ended up being a very late night. The Explorer helped (a VERY tired) Boots to bed at 4 am and came back down with a confession - she had decided to have a pee before coming back to finish her wine, but Boots decided at that exact moment that he needed too.

So the bath was repurposed! And thankfully, Gerry has proof that it is no longer leaking after he had re-sealed it earlier in the week.
