Undivided attention

When Andy got home from school he made an impressive amount of chicken disappear. Stella made it clear she'd be happy to help, but only the odd scrap headed her way. 

Later on, I tried to be just as attentive at the school presentation about George's subject choices. Long courses...short courses...core...all with plenty of TLAs. 

Luckily we have some idea what to expect. It would be interesting to know what parents hearing this stuff for the first time made of it.
