Mushroom Field

After breakfast we checked out of our hotel in Ilkley, Yorkshire and decided on walking around Swinsty Reservoir, build finished in 1878, and holds 866 million gallons with a surface area of 63 hectacres, and about five miles walking around it.

On the way I could not miss RAF Menwith Hill which looks like a field of Button Mushrooms.  It's the largest electronic listening station in the World and keeps us and the US safe!

After the walk it was the long drive back home to South Wales. We had a couple of days of sunshine and really enjoyed the change of scenery.
