Fantasy Tortoise

A small part of  "Ocean en voie d'illumination"--a very large installation in the Jardin des Plantes--Paris's botanical park.  Here's a video. It's a fantasy ocean of aquatic creatures and plants, illuminated internally, to be experienced nocturnally. We visited it this afternoon, two days after it closed on 19 January (if we return on the same schedule next year we'll rush to see it). Our friend Richard (whom we met last year on a mutual visit to our friends in St. Dizier) came for lunch and took us to the park afterwards.
