Cake.....

.....carrot cake, my favourite!

An early birthday cake as my brother and W fly home tomorrow. It needs a couple more candles on it as I'm not quite that young lol! But then you're only as old as you feel, 40 seems ok :))

Lovely to have brunch out with other members of our family who live in Christchurch. I chatted over pancakes with bacon, banana and maple syrup, thought I'd treat myself as I'm usually a bacon and eggs (poached) kind of gal.
