Ferry

Took the ferry today from Seattle to Bainbridge Island, a 35 minute ride, and visited some places W and I enjoyed last summer. The rain set in during the crossing, and a spitting wind too, but nonetheless it was a good outing - lovely brunch and shops. Visited another nice bookstore (Eagle Bay Books) and found that they are carrying a picture book written by a close friend of mine. The book was released just last week - much excitement.

The return crossing was quite rolling and rainy and was followed by a comfortable evening at Mom and D's house. 

Extras include a tippy-horizon selfie, colorful approach to the ferry terminal in Seattle, and a shelf of Mom's.
