Sunset

Today we drive north on Highway 1 to Pahia on the Bay of Islands. Once again there are islands in every direction a beautiful bay. This is a great area for sea fishing and all kinds of watersport. We drove to Waitangi Treaty Grounds where the British Governor signed a treaty with the Maori people. The house and grounds are a gathering place for Maori and government leaders each year.
The sunset suddenly filled the sky over Waitangi river.
