Serving Thyme

There is nothing particularly impressive about the picture but the story behind it.

This is a small cafe called Serving Thyme (pun intended here) that is opposite Ford open prison in West Sussex. It's run by inmates with a prison official overseeing it. They are sponsored by Costa and one can get a good latte etc there. They also serve breakfast and reasonable fair priced sandwiches etc. The inmates can train to be Barristas and presumably could go on to work in a Costa somewhere once their term is complete.

My thoughts are what a damn good idea and hopefully some inmates will benefit from this and not return to a life of crime.
