Tapas

A lazy day back in MK. In the morning I caught up with things on the laptop that I hadn't been able to do while In was away, then washed clothes and the dishes, then went to the pool.

It was sunny and hot, 35 I think and no sea breeze to cool things down. After a proper swim there was a lot of dipping in and out. I'm on audio books now which means to more squinting at large font in the sun.

Came back up after 4. The sun is noticeably on a different track than when I arrived 6 weeks ago
The buildings opposite don't get in the way as much!

Delivered Islay gin and facial scrub brought back  from Thailand to #2 son then took the family for dinner to Fat Olive downstairs for excellent tapas. #1 son joined us later. A cake deficit led to an ice cream purchase in Jaya where the Christmas tree as be replaced by all the Chinese New Year symbols. The girls are on holiday from tomorrow and apparently tonight is the night the city empties.

Tomorrow night is our first reunion dinner.
