Caisteal Gorach...

on a very warm day, 12C, and a steepish  ascent ensured I was hot on arrival!
It is an eighteenth century folly built for the Clan Davidson, who owned Tulloch Castle, lower down the hillside. This is now an hotel but it is interesting to explore the vicinity, particularly the family graveyard which has a grave holding one Davidson and his five wives.
There were several Red Kites around the Pines.
A lovely day again.
