Flowering Cherry

It has been a dull, foggy day today. Like a wet blanket over the world! Went to tennis this morning but we settled for table tennis - good fun. On the way back to the car I noticed this early flowering cherry blossom. The park is looked after by a team of volunteers headed up by a very enthusiastic woman who I greatly admire. The park has been transformed over the last few years due to their efforts. These trees are new additions and there are daffodils in bud growing under them. So the dull weather couldn't dampen my spirits!
