Another wet day

Forecast said it would be dry and a bit windy, it wasn’t. Have had fog and drizzle all day with a few showers. Didn’t stop us walking on the beach this morning, then off to Campbeltown to walk round looking for a dog friendly place to eat, ended up with sandwich from co op and takeaway coffee in the car.
Drove on to do the causeway walk to Davaar island but it was so slippery we decided to turn back, plus no dogs allowed on the island.
Got back to the cottage and the sun came out, the rain stopped and fog cleared to give us our first view of Arran since we got here. Special cocoa on the beach was called for.
Heard lots of noise from around the headland and just happen to have the long lens on, people in the water, its January and Scotland no wonder they were screaming.
The housekeepers at Landmark properties tend to leave flowers for visitors and ours were lovely this week.
