New Sand Dunes

Great to see a new initiative from our council. They are creating new sand dunes with the help of discarded Christmas Trees.

We left our tree down to join the pile and volunteers, I understand have been helping to place them on the beach.

I wasn't expecting them to be creating new dunes. I thought they would place them to shore up existing dunes further along.
Hope it works. Hopefully I will see the end results and be happy my smaller than usual tree has been a contribution to something bigger and important.
