out for an icy swim

paused long enough - for me to snap, snap it

after yesterday’s excursion - at the pond - with flying geese - i admit it just wasn’t enough - so i skedaddled over again - to check out the plethora - of ducks who’d been - hanging about and i knew - would be cooperative to give - me a portrait - sure enough i spotted this - lone mallard (at least i believe it to be a mallard) - floating in the icy waters - willing to pose for me - i assured him he’d get at least - 15 minutes of fame - in my journal and appearing - pleased with that - we decided to call it...
