It's Wednesday

That means it's the day I walk with the Haltwhistle walkers.

Today we did an 8 mile circular from Allensford. Kev had abandoned the 12.5 mile version because of a missing bridge over the river..........

I was happy with 8. The sun shone and the views were open and clear. We walked quite a lot in the woods and by the river too.

This was our long awaited coffee stop (hint, hint, Kevin!) I can see why he wanted to wait for this place. 

Half the walkers are behind the bales.

Arth is swollen but we made it. I'm looking forward to less slithering around on wet leaves in the weeks to come.
