Instead of review committees, green papers and white papers - why not?

One week of every month, all elected politicians have to travel and commute by public transport. Also they should plan, organise, pay and claim their expenses back themselves personally and not their nanny assistants and civil servants.

I guarantee that we would quickly see a new national transport strategy,  get the investment and actually dig ourselves out of the public infrastructure stone age.

Just a thought.....
