Still lovely

The tulips are definitely dead but still lovely.

Murphy hardly moved last night and was still very sluggish but leapt off the sofa barking when Matt the postman arrived. I thanked him. He’s spent most of the day asleep but he has been outside and he has had something to eat. I’m so relieved.

The daughter was given the go ahead to leave the hospital this morning but didn’t appear till the afternoon once she had the relevant paperwork and replacement bandages. Considering what she has been through she looks great.

All this looking after people is exhausting.
