Calm between storms

This London skyline was taken from the QE2 conference centre, Westminster. One day after the fatal helicopter crash in Vauxhall, the previous day the skyline had been fogbound. On this day the skies were clear and the weather was sunny, casting light on all the buildings, including the tallest building-the Shard. Yet again London recovers from a tragedy and appears as if nothing has happened. Later that evening thick snow fell and close major airports in London. Taken with Blackberry Bold 9900.
