Rippled and reflected.

This swan came over to see us today as we walked along the tow path. Part of the canal has been drained between Locks 18 and 19 and looks quite strange. The swans had plenty of water to swim in further along , although the water had iced over at the edge. It was a bitterly cold day but still no snow to speak of...yet!
