Over the hedge

A gloomy day under the high pressure system. The weather forecaster had a technical name for these days of dense cloud under an anticyclone, but I don’t remember it. It is dry, but cold and I didn’t want to stay out long after I had done my shopping so I pulled into a little car park and took a photo over the hedge. The “Old Man’s Beard” has been prolific this year. It was beautiful in flower, and now the hedgerows are full of the “”beards”. I am not sure of the significance of the traffic cone in the middle of the field!
