Red and black

Another miserably dark day, quite a slice of which I spent in town drinking coffee and discussing life, the Universe and everything with a very kind friend who has lent me a monopod to try out.  When I got home I set up this still life and now I'm waiting for Sainsburys to turn up with the shopping (the excitement).

Big Sis has gone to London this evening to do a slightly grand reading of her poetry from Grief Road, the book I blipped back in November.  I'm wishing her lots of luck.
