Reflections

After all my clouds yesterday, we had rain all day today and the temps dropped to 8deg. I even had to wear my sweater. I know you are laughing :-]

Corona Update:
Jan. 23, 2020: China imposes strict lockdown in Wuhan

In this morning's paper,  we had our first health alert over new virus.
Bahrain is stepping up preventive measures to avert any outbreak of the Sars-like Coronavirus.  
The Health ministry has intensified monitoring and prepared guidelines for health workers on dealing with suspected cases.  
The ministry is also coordinating with Bahrain International airport to take preemptive measures. 
There are no suspected cases in Bahrain and the Gulf region.  
The outbreak, which started in China has killed 17 people, and there are more than 500 confirmed cases.
The WHO said after an emergency meeting in Geneva yesterday, it will decide today whether to declare a global emergency over the outbreak
Wuhan will close all urban transport networks today and suspend outgoing flights from the city. Citizens also told to not leave the city unless there were special circumstances.
