White Out!

The snow arrived at about 9:30 last night. By the morning we had a few inches but then it snowed quite hard and we got more! Its been better this afternoon, even some blue sky and sunshine.

A day of chores, but with some time to make soup, go for a walk and pop to the bookshop. I was looking for a book about the history of Leith. I couldn't find one but instead got a book about the history of the Manor Valley which runs just to the south of Peebles. Once the weather clears up I'll hopefully be able to go for a bike ride down the valley and see some of the places I am about to read about.
