Island Bay, Wellington

This is Tapu Te Ranga Motu which is the Maori name for the island in the bay that gives this great suburb its name.

What a beautiful autumn day today - blazing sunshine, still and the water was an amazing colour. This was a relief as over the past couple of weeks it's felt like we'd skipped autumn altogether and gone straight into winter.
