A Green Amaryllis?

I've never seen a green amaryllis before...I think that this is quite exquisite! It's a cultivar called "Evergreen" oddly enough :-) It was such a dark, rainy day today that I had to take the pot outside which is why it's got a bit of rain sprinkled on it.

I went to visit my parents today in Vancouver, just across the Columbia River from Portland. They're doing fine, for being 91 years old. Their world is becoming very small, so every moment feels precious. I played Scrabble with my mom and she beat me by two points!

Pouring rain here, dark, gloomy - much more of a typical Portland winter than December was. Remember I told you I'd start complaining when the rain came!
