Robin

Thursday morning was spent at a church meeting, so a wee walk was needed to clear the head and stretch the legs in the afternoon.

Drove over to Camelon and walked along the Furnace Lade (aka Mill Lade) to Carron and then followed the River Carron into Cobblebrae Community Woodland before returning via a slightly different series of paths.

Spotted a Dipper (see extra - didn't get e great picture of it) on the River Carron from the bridge at Stenhouse Road on my outward journey and then got a better picture of a robin singing in the trees as I made my way back along the River Carron towards Camelon. Lots of birdsong going on - it's hard to believe we're still in January!
