Wednesday

What a day!  My sister turned 61 today.  When I called her and told her that she's one year closer to her retirement, she got very happy.
Later on, I had to meet with my boss and HR.  I received my redundancy letter finally today.  I knew about it for a while now and thought that I was prepared.  But it was not that easy.  Positive thing is that I can still be employed by the company but on an hourly basis.
So in the evening, the girls and I went out for dinner and when one of them asked me how it went, I broke into tears.  I guess parting from something you like to do is not easy after all.
Anyway, when one door closes another one will open.  I am sure.  Just a matter of time.
