In the bleak mid winter!

Had a bit of a headache last couple of days so today managed a short drive to the sand dunes on the beach. Lasted about 10 minutes as it’s dark, damp and freezing. Nice to get out even if it was short lived.

The boy is having a ball, or so he says! Comms are restricted but sent a message to say he’s fine, the weather is atrocious and he’s up to his knees in mud. Patrols have been upped but things are fairly quiet with only the odd Shia militant sticking their heads up over the rocks ... not a good idea as Matty is top marksman in his company.
