Burn's Night
We are going to a pop-up dinner venue this evening with friends and I have been researching appropriate drinks to take. "Research" involved looking at our friend Fiona Beckett's web site. Fiona studied the same course as me at University and shared a flat with the first Mrs J.
It seems that whisky can be drunk with every course, but champagne would not be out of place with the smoked salmon and a robust red wine or strong beer could accompany the haggis. Decisions, decisions... I've covered most of the bases.
