A trip to Manchester's "HOME" arts complex to see the movie 1917, which was brilliant.  A powerful story of heroism, humanity and inhumanity, superbly filmed, directed and performed. Engels, whose statue stands outside the complex, would have had a thing or two to say about World War One.
