Beşiktaş

Early afternoon, after a morning of chores whilst looking wistfully at the  sunshine, I decided to enjoy a sunny winter's Istanbul afternoon and so took the seashore road bus to Besiktas, where I had a delicious very late lunch (or very early dinner?) on the terrace of a typical Turkish cuisine place with a wonderful 180º view (today's pic and extra) and then took a different bus route home.

An evening spent doing those things that have to be done the night before the morning when you fly to Holland for a week with 24 teenagers for the annual Model United Nations conference in the Hague .....
