Tulips.

Another sunny day and a bit milder!   Headed into town early to do a few chores....to free up the rest of the day to paint.   I love having a small village as my closest place to go.....you can always count on a few hugs and a couple of lovely exchanges.   So i had a great chat with Laverne in the library, then bumped into Susan (owner of the cafe) on the street and we nattered for a good while...this is the time of year when we are all more available to stop and chat....tourist season here is so busy for most of us.

Then home to do some painting.   See the extra.   This is just the beginning, i watched a wonderful video yesterday of an artist whose work i love, and got myself inspired to be very brave and just cover up the whole previous layer!!!   and as i go forward i can hear her very clearly saying...'i have no idea where this is going...and that's just fine'.... and so it is just fine to go wherever this painting takes me.

Had a lovely chat with Bronwyn as she drove to the ferry to head over to the mainland to spend the evening with her twin sister....going to a concert, sounds like so much fun.
