The Snowman

Finlay was beside himself with excitement today due to the few inches of snow on the ground. We decided to skip the usual Saturday routine and headed out to kit ourselves out for the snow. A hundred odd quid later we had boots, waterproofs, gloves and, most importantly, a sledge.

Both boys enjoyed sledging but a few trips up and down the hill and they were more interested in building a snowman. We had a wee go in the park but after lunch we built a proper one in the back garden. Brody lost interest half way through but Finlay was keen to finish it and have the honour of sticking the carrot in.

They are both knackered tonight and have crashed out in their beds oblivious to the fact that more snow is coming down. Maybe some more sledging tomorrow.
