Winter Flowering Cherry

I probably photograph this each year, but it always gives people pleasure to see our front garden tree in bloom in the depths of winter.  

On this occasion I made a bit more effort and took a small cutting, photographing it indoors and using focus stacking to ensure as much detail as possible.  I even added a texture to the background.

Spent the day at home, receiving a parcel and generally tidying around.  Slowly but surely the loft is becoming a usable space, just a few more visits to local charity shops or the tip to go.
