Onions from Roscoff
Good to see Pascal Creach, also known as Johnnie Onion Man, back in Romsey’s Friday market today. We use a lot of onions in our kitchen, and to my mind, the onions from Brittany have a distinctive flavour. As it happened I had used the last of my Roscoff onions this week, so I could not miss the chance to catch up with Pascal today. He is a regular visitor to markets around the South, and I have learned it pays to keep a copy of his schedule handy.
Onions? Superb. And his French grown garlic is something special!
