Done and dusted

Well I didn’t set a record for time spent in recovery following surgery - something like seven hours - but I certainly exceeded the average - 30 minutes.
I was 3 and half hours.

M was waiting my return with a bunch of flowers and my favourite vase to put them in, not so much for me so much as a photo for Blip.

The problem was pain control. Nothing seemed to touch it until  they reached( almost) the maximum. Finally the drugs kicked in.
So, I am “ done and dusted” ( And never again).
