A Perk!

Looky what I found! At one of the area grocery stores that I occasionally stop at when I need something on a Friday - as it's on my way home from The Wildlife Center - I discovered that they have a special parking place for "low emitting or hybrid vehicles." Well! I've been driving an electric car (a Chevrolet Bolt) since August 1, 2019 so hey! It's for me! I wonder if any of the other stores have such perks? Hahahahaha! Brilliant.

Harris Teeter, btw, is a store that I believe started in Richmond, and then broadened its area a bit. A small family concern to start with? In any case - it was bought by Kroger some years ago, so we now have both Kroger and Harris Teeter in the Charlottesville area. Plus others. Kroger and Whole Foods are the two I hit regularly on my Tuesday shopping day - but this Harris Teeter is what's on my way home on Fridays, so...

My car's color is "Cajun Red" - or so I was told. It was the only one the dealer had. Works for me!
