Peach - Honey babe
I'm trying to remember when my dwarf fruit trees were planted, June or maybe July 2019?
Let's say 6 months ago and now I have fruit ripening. I removed all but 6 of the peaches when the fruit was tiny. The tree is barely 50cm tall, if that. The fruit are growing and it seems to have enough energy for them. According to the label they ripen in March.
I've regularly fed the peach, nectarine, and apple trees seaweed, though I suspect it's more about moisture now. I've got some ideas for feeding them through the dormant months as that's what should make a big difference.
It's all fun and a learning curve.
At an appointment with my personal banker today, she asked me some questions. I said "oh, yeah, I've got a breakdown here...".
All that stuff sort of stuff is accessible from my phone - what goes where and when, how much rates and insurances are, etc. She sat back and said "I've never had this before. People either have no idea or a rough idea. You're the first person I've dealt with who knows". I just thought that's normal.
My toe and calf are more comfortable today. I managed to vacuum most of the house before the toe niggled. I just need to get the balance right.
Today's gratitude: For the lovely feeling of coming home on a warm, sunny day.
