The essence of winter

Now I know that we had some snowy weather but for me the essence of winter is these two. The red wing and the Field fare. I have spent many winters trying to snap these two and its so hard as they are usually really scatty. but today they were in good form and I managed to get both in the same shot. Thanks guys and have a good trip back to scandinavia in the spring.
