Garden visitors
Or should I say "unwanted" garden visitors. I was doing the RSPB garden bird count this morning and two pairs of parakeets arrived and perched high in the cherry blossom tree in our back garden. Until they arrived the garden had a lot of activity going on. I had magpies, collared doves, blue tits, great tits, sparrows, black birds, robins, coal tits and squirrels. Once the parakeets landed every bird and squirrel evacuated our garden. So attractive as they are I think I'd prefer it if they stay in the woods behind us. I was surprised that even the magpies didn't hang around while they were there. There's an extra.
