Snow day treat

Golly but I have been irritable today!! I am sorry :( I blame exhaustion but that's no excuse really.

Anyway the snow finally arrived, and typically the first time it snows properly back home in Worthing in two years and I'm not there to play in it. Still, it snowed here and I was excited, even if Bean was not: he declared he didn't like snow. Bear has not really experienced it, and Daddy was tired.

It was nearly midday by the time everyone had been corralled out of the house all togged up and complete with sleds, but once we got to the park my mood finally lifted and we enjoyed some snow play - pulling the boys along on the sleds and playing on the various climbing frames and swings. We treated ourselves to lunch and a warm at a pretty cafe, Bear fell asleep on the way there so I had a lovely cuddle with him! Woke him up to have some pizza before we headed off to Gran and Grandad's, to see Auntie Ruth for her birthday tea.

Lots of giggles and playtime and chatter and food and good times! Bear ended up being stripped to the waist for dinner as we'd forgotten bibs, not that he minded, he ended up with a chocolate belly button!

Home and to bed for the boys, and phase one of the Big Pack for us. Seems fairly successful, we'll see how the morning goes though... Going home tomorrow!!
