The Best View of St Ives?

It's been a dreary, drizzly day. We did a few chores this morning and by late morning it started to look a little brighter so after lunch we went out. Marian had been waiting for the Weirdfish shop to open since we arrived and today was the first day it opened. I now have a nice lined sweater as a late birthday present.

We walked out of the town following the coast path to the north west. We didn't walk all that far but as is the way with coast paths, a lot of up and down was involved. On our way back I took this view of St. Ives from the road and for me it seems to be the best view of the town with the Pedn Olva hotel on the outcrop providing some interest in the forground.
