A prize for Bela

It’s been years since I made anything from felt. I don’t know what it is with me, but when I stop doing something that I enjoy, I find it really difficult to restart the habit. Well, today I found the motivation to try again. I was feeling dissatisfied with watching television without keeping my hands busy and I also needed something to give to my 6 year old piano student as a prize for winning ten practice stickers. So I went for it. In my opinion, she’s not one of the best I’ve ever made but hopefully Bela will like her.

Today I’m grateful for the fact that my hairdresser who I had for many years in Bodrum, is living around the corner from my son who is away at college. This meant for a lovely day, first getting my hair sorted out by someone who actually knows what I want and secondly allowing me to meet up with my son (older son came too) to go out for a nice lunch (actual order of events not on order of priority!)
