Fuzzy mallard

parkrun this morning, only 2 secs different from last time!.
Tea and cake then to the ponds for a birdwatch.
Plenty of water birds around, 8 goosanders, 8 tufted ducks,10  mallards, 5 moorhen, 3 swans, 2 herons and 22 black-headed gulls. Also various small birds seen or heard.
In the afternoon I met for a chat with someone who is writing an article about older women trail-running.
