Sagrada Familia At Night

Slow start to the day before walking out mid-afternoon for a late lunch. As we were having an aperitif, we decided to pop across town to see 1917 on probably the biggest cinema screen in Barcelona. Every aspect of the trip was rewarding - the screen, the film and the walk out later, passing the Sagrada Familia.

1917 grips and moves in equal measures. The lead actor, George MacKay, produces another fine performance after Sunshine Over Leith and Captain Fantastic. If you want to see it, go to the biggest screen possible to be drawn into the scenes, as few films manage, through the single shot approach taken throughout.
