Happy 'Straya Day!

The sun  is shining, Ash Barty is playing excellent tennis against the US's Riske and we are about to go out to join friends for the ubiquitous BBQ for Australia Day.  
It's the same group with whom we have been celebrating this day and others for almost 50 years. Crikey! We must be getting old ;-)

This was the scene at Cottesloe after our walk this morning. The surf club having a bit of a competition, feeling safer with the newish shark net in place. (Thats the thing with the yellow floats attached).
