The afternoon was dull but dry. It was good to be out for an hour. 

In the morning it rained. In addition to washing and ironing I looked inside two banana boxes which have sat under a desk since the loft was partly cleared for the reroofing. Most of the contents are suitable for a charity shop and I've replaced the items which aren't with some clothes and books. The items removed are now in the bin.
